Switching Verification Method
Follow these steps from Settings. Changes apply immediately after confirmation.
- Open Settings and scroll to Verification Method.Screenshot reference: Settings > Verification Method section
- Choose one mode:
- Automatic (Recommended) for managed verification.
- Bring your own wallet for external wallet verification.
- If selecting external mode, read the warning modal and confirm.Screenshot reference: External mode warning modal
- Return to your filing flow and continue verification with your selected mode.
Before switching to external mode
External mode can change where your verification records and access passes appear. Only switch if you understand the ownership and network fee tradeoffs.
